It is the day when we contemplate the ever-living memorial: Eucharist, priesthood and the new commandment of love. On this holy day, looking at love of Christ, who as a humble Servant washes his disciples’ feet, recalling the establishment of sacrament of the Eucharist and the Priesthood, conscious of human weakness, but also trusting in the healing power of divine grace, we pray that God in his providence raised up and reborn in hearts generous ideal of complete devotion to Christ. We ask for the love between us, for the gift of communion with our bishop and the whole Church and love for the Eucharist.

The Cross of Christ – paradoxically brings us the „happy message”. It is in fact the place where God was stronger than our perversity: „Christ died for our sins”. The Cross of Christ is inseparable from his resurrection: shows that the Crucified Jesus is the Son of God who dies for man.
The cross is the supreme revelation of the Father’s love, gesture which allows us to touch the inexhaustible love of God for us: Rom 5,6-8 „For when we were still helpless, Christ died for the wicked at the time that God chose…”

Passover: it is Jesus’ passing from this world to the Father. Through Passion Lord passed from death to life, to the glory of the resurrection. The passion and resurrection of Jesus is the true Pascha, „Was it not necessary for the Mesiah to suffer this things and then to enter into his glory,” Luke 24:26.
Paschal faith of Christians expresses that: Jesus really died and resurrected; died for our sins and resurrected for our exculpation. Our implantation into Christ’s Passover is accomplished in the sacrament of baptism . When Christ passes from death to life, together with him all mankind passes to the Father. We all therefore already passed with Christ to the Father, and „our life is hidden with Christ in God” Col 3:3 – however also we all must still to pass! Pass through a death!
We pass in faith, staring at the Resurrected Christ! Our destiny is life. We will go from this world to the Father when Christ will return to move us!
